Category 1: carcinogenic
Group 1, is carcinogen to humans. Those with sufficient evidence of human carcinogenicity belong to this group. Such as smoking and second-hand smoke.
Category 2: very likely to cause cancer
Group 2, which is likely or possibly carcinogen to humans. It is divided into two groups, namely group 2A and group 2B.
Group 2A, which is probably carcinogenic to humans, means that there is limited evidence of carcinogenicity to humans. There is sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity in laboratory animals. Such as barbers who produce artistic glass and often use hair dryers.
Category 3: may cause cancer
Group 2B, which is a possible carcinogen for humans, refers to limited evidence of carcinogenicity to humans and insufficient evidence of carcinogenicity to experimental animals; or refers to insufficient evidence of carcinogenicity to humans and sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity to experimental animals.
