Oxidizing Gas

Definition:

Oxidizing gas means any gas which, generally by supplying oxygen, causes or promotes the combustion of other substances more than air.

Note: "Gas that can cause or promote the combustion of other materials more than air" refers to a pure gas or gas mixture with an oxidizing ability greater than 23.5% determined by the method specified in ISO 10156: 2010 of the International Organization for Standardization.
