The EU Has Revised the CLP Mandatory Classification List

The mandatory classification list in Annex VI of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, the Regulation on the Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP), has been amended by the Commission for Risk Assessment (RAC) following the adoption of its amendments following the relevant proposals (CLH) received from EU parties on the classification of Substances.
 
Explanation: CLH -- The intention and proposal for the unified classification and labeling of some substances, and the proposal for the revision and addition of the classification of these substances is made
Submitted by national authorities, manufacturers, importers or downstream users.
 
The amendment will take effect on 3 May 2022; Applicable from 23 November 2023.

Annex VI of the EU CLP is the mandatory GHS classification list for chemicals. In the EU you must classify the substances in these lists according to this list.
