Korea K-REACH Restricted Substance List

The Korea Registration and Evaluation of Chemicals Act (also known as K-REACH) is not only about chemical substance registration, K-REACH also restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in consumer products and articles to protect human health and the environment. In this article, we will give you an overview of the restricted substances list in Korea and how to obtain it.
List of K-REACH restricted substances:
l lMalachite green (CAS 10309-95-2) and its salts
l l Methyl Bromide (CAS 74-83-9)
l l Carbon tetrachloride (CAS 56-23-5)
l lTributyltin compounds (CAS 4782-29-0 and other CAS)
l lFormaldehyde (CAS 50-00-0)
l l Nonylphenol and Nonylphenol Ethoxylates (CAS 104-40-5 etc.)
l lChrysotile (CAS 12001-29-5)
l l Lead (CAS 7439-92-1)
l lCadmium (CAS 7440-43-9)
l l Chromium (VI) compounds (CAS 18540-29-9 etc.)
l lTrichloroethylene (CAS 79-01-6)
l lTetrachloroethylene (CAS 127-18-4)
